My client is looking to recruit a Senior Town Planner to support the Land and Planning Department. As a key member of the team, you will be involved in new sites from acquisition, in addition, you will be tasked with assisting on major schemes that have been acquired, that are complex in nature and require pragmatic solutions in order to gain planning permission. You will meet regularly with all other departments, ranging from pre-construction to the Board, which provides an excellent platform for those that wish to work ‘client side’ or further their career in the housing industry.

Planning expertise, a sound knowledge of the planning system, communication skills and attention to detail are essential, In addition, you will be given the necessary help from the Land and Planning Department to establish your role and further your experience working on some significant projects in London.

The ideal candidate must have 4 years experience at a planning consultancy or with a developer, your MRTPI qualification or in the process of applying for MRTPI, experience with London Authority/GLA and residential experience with examples of assisting on schemes which are 150 units plus.
