Assistant Quantity Surveyor

To provide support and aid the successful delivery of the allocated scheme whilst maintaining the highest possible standards and relationship with Clients and Sub Contractors alike.

Collate and keep up to date tracking documents such as the subcontract procurement schedule, collateral warranty tracker and the like at the direction of the Project Surveyor.

Ensure the Regional and Company procedures are fulfilled in relation to the processing of Sub Contractor Payments

  • Compliance with agreed prelims, including detailed record keeping (tax invoice / labour allocation summaries) and reconciling these against the agreed prelim forecast
  • Understand accounting principles such as CIS / reverse charge VAT and how they are applied
  • Understand key benchmarks and measure success against them
  • Meet deadlines without the need for prompting
  • Final accounts resolved within 12 weeks of practical completion (client and supply chain)
  • Accuracy of administration and compliance with company standards
