Our client, a large M & E contractor based in Surrey, are looking for an experienced M & E Senior Estimator to prepare tenders ready for submissions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Advising on tender enquiry documents and instigating company QA procedures, including managing contractual and financial document reviews, interventions and discussions.
- Managing the preparation and preparing cost plans from design drawings.
- Making full use of the available computer technology
- Providing a design to cost role, on D&B contracts.
- Creating a commitment from their team to win bids by best value not best price.
- Submiting and negotiating bids on the parameters set by Managers/Directors.
- Chairing tender handover meetings.
The Senior Estimator will have to come from an M & E background with a successful track record of submitting successful tenders, ideally having worked for a large M & E contractor.
