Bid Manager - Northern Homes Counties - Large Main Contractor - Public Sector Schemes - £70k-£80k basic plus competitive package 

The Company

  • A large established top main contractor with an office based in Hertfordshire.

The Role: Bid Manager

  • Vacancy for a Bid Manager to contribute to successful bids from inception to tender award on public sectors and commercial projects
  • £70k-£80k dependant on experience

The Candidate

  • Previous Bid Manager experience on construction projects (essential)
  • Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Prison project experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Be detail orientated
  • A high level of communication and presentation skills
  • Have a good understanding of cost, quality and programme drivers

Key Responsibilities of the Bid Manager

  • As the Bid Manager provide management of all aspects of the bid process
  • Responsible for submitting tender documentation
  • Work autonomously as well as in a team when required
  • Prepare all pre-qualification and tender information required for submission
  • Preparation and review of all PQQ documentation
  • Assist in the production of presentation material for clients
  • Manage the timetable for all bid submission
