Bid Manager

We are currently recruiting for a national main contractor, who is a world class engineering, construction and investment business. They create and care for essential assets: hospitals, schools, roads / rail and utility systems. Over recent months they have won a number of Building Schools for the Future projects and are now in the enviable position of increasing their head count in a controlled manner.

They are keen to recruit an experienced Bid Manager to lead a team on Building Schools for the Future bids. The role will involve leading the team on commercial, financial, design, health planning, logistics, construction, environmental and sustainability. Other responsibilities include putting together concise and successful strategies to win work in the public sector.

The successful Bid Manager will come from a main contracting background and have experience of working on £multi million bids. In an ideal world the Bid Manager will also have worked on educational schemes in either PFI or BSF forms of finance. The company offers a very secure future, due to their heavy and successful involvement in the public sector and a salary package to attract the best.
